“Married To Medicine’s” Dr. Simone & Cecil Whitmore Celebrate 24 Years Of Marriage After Considering Divorce In The Past

BRAVO TV’s “Married To Medicine” cast mates, Cecil Whitmore and Dr. Simone Whitmore are celebrating their 24th anniversary after recovering from a rocky road that almost ended their marriage.

Just two years ago, reports looked a lot different for the couple when Dr. Simone Whitmore almost threw in the towel, filing for divorce from her husband. The longest-standing couple on the ‘Married To Medicine‘ revealed much of their drama on the show.  During the reunion episode of Season 5, fellow cast mates surrounded the couple with love and advice, encouraging them to stick it out (watch videos below).

During that challenging time Dr. Simone Whitmore said,

“I have reached a place where I am in a marriage where I do not feel loved and no sacrifices are being made for me to make me feel loved. I must move on.”

She continued on,

“He’s just so hostile and angry about every little thing. When somebody is being mean, it’s hard to replace that with something nice or smile. It’s difficult.”

Fortunately for the Whitmore family, that include their two sons, Michael and Miles, things have taken a turn for the better.  Cecil Whitmore posted on his Instagram,

“Happy 24th Anniversary to my lovely wife. @drsswhit Some decisions are better than others and I really got this one right!! Met in college 32 years ago. @morehouse1867@spelman_college#married2med.”

Since the announcement of ‘Married to Medicine‘ in 2013, Dr. Simone and Cecil have been a crowd favorite. @ms.spicybaby writes,
