DaBaby Speaks Out Against Police Brutality: Sh*t Been Corrupted, A Lot of Us Really Victims

Rapper DaBaby recently aired his thoughts and his past personal experience with police brutality amid the nationwide protests in reaction to the disheartened murder of unarmed black man, George Floyd in Minnesota.

The 28-year-old rapper took to his Twitter over the weekend (May 31st), where he fired off several tweets, first addressing his absence from the discussion during the weekend. DaBaby to fans not to be confused about his silence of the movement as he accused other celebs of only using their voice for likes and comments.

He continues his rant on police brutality, adding how he feels the entire justice system is corrupt.

“If ni**as knew better they would know it ain’t just the police, it’s f**k da LAW period. The whole system. Sh*t been corrupted, and a lot of us really victims of it. Sh*t I got cases open RIGHT NOW.”

DaBaby ends his rant with a message to those whose lives haven’t been affected by police brutality or have never been arrested.

“All you internet MFs who ain’t never even been in handcuffs before don’t talk to me. You don’t know nothing about this sh*t, say focused.”

He then adds,

“Don’t let your intentions get watered down worrying about what “famous” ppl doing with their influences.”

As reported, several celebs took to the streets over the weekend to join protests including ‘Insecure’ star Kendrick Sampson in Los Angeles along with reality starPorsha Williams in Atlanta.
