Well, it seems that Dave Chappelle is ready to speak on the things Azealia Banks said in her infamous video. On Thursday, June 11th Netflix dropped a surprise standup special of Dave Chappelle entitled “8:46” on their YouTube comedy channel. The special was initially filmed on June 6th in Yellow Springs, Ohio. In the project, Dave Chappelle speaks on his personal life, the death of George Floyd, and the current state of America. While speaking about American conservative Candace Owens and comments she made regarding George Floyd’s death, Dave Chappelle briefly touched on Azealia Banks and appears to confirm her allegations.
Confession: #GeorgeFloyd is neither a martyr or a hero. But I hope his family gets justice. https://t.co/Lnxz0usrp5

Dave Chappelle said:
“I seen Candace Owens try to convince white America, ‘Don’t worry about it. He’s a criminal anyway.’ I don’t give a f*ck what this n*gga did. I don’t care what this n*gga did. I don’t care if he personally kicked Candace Owens in her stanky p*ssy. I don’t know if it stanks, but I imagine it does. If I ever find out, I’ll let you know for sure. I’ll tell like Azealia Banks. I’ll tell.”

Dave Chappelle named the special “8:46” to reference how long Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on George Floyd’s neck, which unfortunately led to his death.

In addition to that, the comedian shares in the special that “8:46” also references the time of day he was born.
