Brandy Files Restraining Order Against Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stalking Her

Legendary singer/actress Brandy has recently encountered a stalker, according to reports. A 21-year-old woman has allegedly shown up to Brandy’s California home, as well as other locations, on multiple occasions. Sources close to the “Moesha” star say Brandy does not know the young woman, but she has waited outside of her gated community several times, causing Brandy to fear for her life.

Brandy recently filed a civil harassment restraining order in a Los Angeles County Court for protection of she and her 18-year-old daughter, Sy’Rai. The woman was arrested on Monday night (6/29/20) according to a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokesperson.

Singers Chris Brown and Ashanti have gone through similar situations. Chris Brown found a woman naked in his bed in 2016 after she broke into his home while he was away. He posted a photo of her on Instagram with his recount of what happened. The woman received probation and was ordered to stay away from him for two years.

Ashanti and her family endured nearly a decade of stalking by a New York man. After serving time in prison, he was convicted again in 2016.

Brandy’s stalker is being held for felony stalking on a $150,000 bond.
