Update #3 (July 13th): Pierre Thomas and Coach K of Quality Control record label have shared their condolences with Lil Marlo’s death.
Pierre Thomas shared a photo of him and the late rapper with the caption
“So Much Potential That The World Didn’t Get A Chance To See. Love You Bro. It’s Really Hard For Me To Say RIP”
Coach K also offered a sentimental message days after Lil Marlo’s passing.
He wrote,
“You always had a smile on your face when we talked. If only everybody could’ve seen the pureness of your heart. This is such hard thing to do RIP Marlo. Prayers to your kids & family…”
Update #2: According to reports, Lil Marlo was shot as he drove down Interstate 285 in downtown Atlanta late Saturday night. Police arrived and found the rapper fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police state,
‘At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.’

Lil Marlo was signed to Quality Control Music and was close friends with rapper Lil Baby.
There has been no confirmation as to how the 27-year-old passed.
His passing was confirmed by rapper Lil Yachty, but no official statement has been released by his family or label yet. Lil Yachty shared an image with him at a club, writing:

Lil Marlo’s last social media Post was on July 5 – he was promoting a party.
