Who would win a VERZUZ battle between R&B favorites Chris Brown and Usher? Usher has been in the game since 1994, while Chris Breezy’s debut album dropped in 2005 – making for a battle full of coming-of-age crooning. However, social media is seemingly split between which singer would come out of victorious in the end.

The controversial 31-year-old talent caught wind of the extensive social media debates about the proposed battle, and chimed in. He wants fans to put some respect on his catalog. Chris Brown said this on Instagram:

“What we not gone do is CAP”

He continued:

“I could do a vs off features alone… So I’ll humbly decline… I’m busy doing nothing”

Keep in mind, Chris Brown recently made it clear that he wasn’t interested in a battle with anyone. He posted tour footage of him dancing to his song, “Drunk Texting,” with the following caption:

“Only vs ima do is CHRIS BROWN VS CHRIS BREEZY… not in competition with nobody but myself…”
