Chrissy Teigen Apologizes For Megan Thee Stallion Joke After Getting Mixed Reactions
Model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen has apologized after feeling the heat from some Megan Thee Stallionfans for a joke about the rapper on Twitter.
She wrote,
“I used the play on words joke with a celeb and something their known for with meg and twerking and I should have known that is just not the right time especially for something so dumb and sh*tty and pointless as the joke was.”

She ended with,
“making anyone feel reminded of a terrible time or letting you guys down sucks more than anything to me so I am sorry to Megan and anyone who thought this was about the incident at all.”
Her apology comes after her tweet over the weekend. She wrote,
“I have a megan thee stallion joke but it needs to be twerked on”

Some fans responded to Chrissy’s tweet with anger and distaste while others defended the joke.

As previously reported, on Sunday, July 12th, Tory Lanez was arrested on a felony concealed weapon charge following what appeared to be a dispute with Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Allegedly, Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. Once the news that Tory Lanez was allegedly the person that shot Megan Thee Stallion surfaced, theories circulated online suggesting that an argument was started over Kylie Jenner, who they partied with the previous night.

Though Megan Thee Stallion received lots of love and support from her fans, she was also the butt of a few jokes from former “Basketball Wives Star” Draya Michele and rapper Cam’Ron.

She took to Twitter to respond to the jokes and wrote,
“Dumb b***h that sh*t ain’t f***ing funny who tf jokes about getting shot by a n***a…And f*ck all the h*e a** n*ggas making jokes about it too I’ll talk about sh*t when I get ready”
