50 Cent Apologizes To Megan The Stallion For Joking About Her Being Shot: I Didn’t Think This Sh*t Was Real!
After much speculation surrounding the incident involving Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez, and Kylie Jenner, on Monday (July 27) Megan Thee Stallion confirmed that she was shot in both of her feet and now 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) has apologized for mocking her.
Fortunately, the Houston bred “Savage” rapper is physically doing just fine but emotionally, she had to endure the humiliation of people mocking her online, via jokes and memes. 50 Cent is the latest to apologize for a meme he posted depicting Megan Thee Stallion’s face on a screenshot of a popular scene from the 1991 urban classic Boyz N The Hood movie.

Prior to 50’s public apology, in her live stream video, Megan did address those who made fun of her situation. She stated,
“And, it’s not funny. It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to start going making up [quick] stories about.I didn’t put my hands on anybody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do sh*t. And, thank god the bullets didn’t touch bones, they didn’t break tendons. Where the bullets hit at, it missed everything, but them mutha f***as were in there.”
Model and wife to singer, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen also recently apologized to Megan for what she calls a “pointless joke”. She wrote,
“I used the play on words joke with a celeb and something their known for with meg and twerking and I should have known that is just not the right time especially for something so dumb and sh*tty and pointless as the joke was.”

She previously teased that she had a Megan Thee Stallion joke but had to “twerk” on it.

Another celebrity that faced backlash for comments she made about Megan The Stallion and the shooting is model, Draya Michele. After social media users accused her of glorifying domestic violence while discussing Megan The Stallion and Tory Lanez on a podcast episode, she later recanted her statement and apologized generally to domestic violence victims. She stated,
“I just want to take a min to address victims of domestic violence and abuse of any kind and just overall humans, I was wrong to insinuate that there is room for violence in loving relationships, or in any relationship for that matter. I was wrong to try to find humor or make light of the situation, and understand that my joking nature was damaging and hurtful.”
She continued on saying,
“It was poor judgment and i deeply regret it. This is a sincere apology from me to everyone. It is always my intention to uplift women, and especially black women through my platforms, my businesses, and my words.”
