According to WLBT, Tim Norman, who starred on the popular OWN reality series with his mother and family, was charged with conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire, resulting in death.

According to the complaint, Tim Norman and a woman named Terica Ellis and others conspired to commit a murder-for-hire in exchange for money. Reportedly, Terica Ellis was an exotic dancer who lived in Memphis, Tennessee.

Reportedly, prior to the days leading up to Andre Montgomery’s tragic murder, Terica Ellis told him that she was coming to St. Louis.  On March 13, 2016, the day before Andre Montgomery’s murder, Tim Norman allegedly flew to St. Louis, Missouri from Los Angeles, California.

On the following day, March 14, 2016, Terica Ellis and Tim Norman communicated using temporary phones and used the temporary phone to communicate with Andre Montgomery and learn his location. Immediately after learning Andre Montgomery’s location, Terica Ellis placed a call to Norman.

Later in the evening, Andre Montgomery was shot and killed. Terica Ellis’s phone location allegedly places her in the area of the murder at time of the shooting.

Immediately following his murder, Terica Ellis placed a call to Tim Norman, and then began traveling to Memphis, Tennessee. After Andre Montgomery’s murder, Terica Ellis deposited cash into various bank accounts.

In 2016, Tim Norman is said to have contacted the life insurance company in an attempt to collect on the life insurance policy he had obtained on his nephew.
