Drake Fans Jump To His Defense After Critic Slams His Acting Skills: You Ain’t Ever Watch Degrassi?!

Before Drake became a Grammy-Award winning rapper, he was known as Jimmy Brooks on Canadian teen drama “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

Now, his days as an actor has resurfaced as Drake, his real name Aubrey Graham, Degrassi, and Wheelchair Jimmy trended on Twitter. The reactions come as a response to one fan appearing to criticize Drake’s acting skills in DJ Khaled’s “POPSTAR” that features Drake and stars Justin Bieber. 

They tweeted,

“Drake wants to be an actor so bad… but I’m kinah with it he can defo act”

Longtime Drake fans hopped on Twitter to defend him as they showed love to some of his iconic “Degrassi” moments, including the later seasons where his character was in a wheelchair as a result of being shot during a school shooting.
