In the series, which is a spinoff of the long-running series Power, Lovell Adams-Gray plays the character Dru Tejada, who plays the son of Monet Stewart Tejada – played by Mary J. Blige.
When describing his experience working with Mary, Lovell says that the singer turned actress is NOT a diva at all. See the clip below.
