Breonna Taylor – New Body Cam Video Released, S.W.A.T. Repeats “She’s Done” Upon Her Death
The heartbreaking case of Breonna Taylor, the 26-year-old Black woman who was fatally shot in her Louisville, Kentucky home on March 13, continues to reveal saddening details of what really took place that evening.
A newly released post-raid body cam video shows 10 minutes of the aftermath that left Breonna Taylor lifeless in her own hallway as a S.W.A.T team clears her apartment. The body cam shows the team of men going from room to room, searching closets and underneath a bed while a blurred out image of Breonna lies on the floor for minutes without aid.

Someone finally announces,
“Check her. You gotta check her.”
As the commotion begins to subside from the S.W.A.T. team exiting the apartment, one member declares,
“This is now a crime scene. Let’s go ahead and move out, she’s done. We’ll keep one person here on her, she’s done.”
Sadly, Taylor’s life was taken at the hands of officers reportedly when Detective Myles Cosgrove executed a no-knock warrant at her apartment and officers allegedly shot her several times to her death. Taylor’s boyfriend Kenneth Walker surrendered to police, and body cam video shows him fighting through tears announcing that his girlfriend was shot and laying on the hallway floor.

The Grand Jury charged Detective Brett Hankison with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment in the fatal shooting. No other officer has been charged at this time.
Let’s continue to pray for the family and friends of Breonna Taylor.
