Who knew Quavo’s relationship with Saweetie started with a simple Emoji?

On Wednesday (October 7), the Migos member and solo artist (real name Quavious Keyate Marshall) shared with fans the very first message he sent to his now girlfriend, 27-year-old Saweetie (real name Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper), which was a simple snowflake Emoji.

After sending a snowflake Emoji, to which Saweetie answered with a bowl of noodles, Quavo replied:

“U So Icy Ima Glacier Boy”

Saweetie responded:

“Was hannin then”

The rest was history. As users began reacting to the tweet, Saweetie let the world know:

“Straight to the point I been wanting this man”

When fans began to speculate how she originally responded to her rapper crush sliding in her DM, Saweetie confirmed:

“I must say the group chat was lit”

One fan even tried out the rapper’s method but appeared to be unsuccessful.

This isn’t the first time the couple, who went public in September 2018, has shared a few about their relationship to the public.

They recently revealed what happened on their first date, which involved a near-choking at an Atlanta steakhouse, a strip club melee, and a fiery argument and ended with them hooking up.
