Tory Lanez’s Dad Stands By Him After Rapper Is Charged W/ Shooting Megan Thee Stallion
Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar, is encouraging the rapper after he was charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Sonstar took to Instagram with a scripture for Tory Lanez and wrote:
“My son @torylanez I say to you this day. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show to you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you Daystar.Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'”

It was previously reported that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Tory Lanez with assaulting Megan Thee Stallion in Hollywood Hills earlier this year. He was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He’s also facing a gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury. If convicted, he could get up to 22 years.
Tory Lanez also reacted to the charges Friday (Oct. 9th) and wrote:
“[time will tell]… and the truth will come to the light … I have all faith in God to show that … love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart … a charge is not a conviction . If you have supported me or meg thru this , I genuinely appreciate u .”
