Update #2 (Oct. 15th): Trey Songz’s bout with COVID-19 is over!
The singer updated radio personality Keisha Nicole with Houston’s 97.9 of his status on Wednesday (Oct. 14th).
He said:
“I ain’t got the COVID no more, don’t worry about it man.”
He then joked:
“I ain’t got the COVID no more. Come on over man! I’m in here by myself!”

Trey Songz has tested positive for COVID-19. The singer shared the news tonight, October 5th, on social media. He explained that he has a young son and is taking the virus serious. Trey Songz also shares that his grandfather died earlier this year and believes that his passing may be released to the coronavirus. See the video below.
