EXCLUSIVE: Lamar Odom’s ex Liza Morales Plans To Be An ‘Open Book’ On “Basketball Wives” & Open Up About Co-Parenting Challenges
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports new details surrounding Lamar Odom’s ex Liza Morales being added as the newest cast member to “Basketball Wives.” Liza Morales shares two children with Lamar Odom:
a son named Lamar Jr. and daughter named Destiny.
The pair, unfortunately, lost their 3rd child when the baby was only 6 months old. Sources tell us that her storyline will revolve around her transitioning from NYC to Los Angeles and pursuing her real estate career. A source tells us
“She really wants to come on the show and share her story and some of the things she’s been through. She’s a single, working mom and it’s been a challenge at times co-parenting with her children’s father, Lamar (Odom).”
While it’s likely that Lamar Odom won’t make any appearances on the show, Liza plans to be transparent about her personal life. We’re told:
“She’s an open book. She’s had some drama with Lamar not being as involved with their children as he should, but she’s not going to bash him. She wants the best for her children and her career.”
The source adds,
“This show will give her the opportunity to let people see how relatable she is and what it’s like co-parenting with someone who battles with addiction.”
Liza made headlines this week when she posted a few cryptic messages to her Instagram stories that seem to be aimed at Lamar Odom. In one message, she asked about their son Lamar Jr.’s tuition being paid. (See below).
Basketball Wives will not be Liza’s first experience on reality TV. She appeared on “Starter Wives Confidential” on TLC in 2013.
