Tami Roman’s Daughter Jazz Anderson Comes Out As Bisexual
Jazz Anderson, the daughter of former “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman has spoken up about her sexuality. The recording artist and co-host of Fox Soul’s “The Mix” came out as bisexual on the show.
While speaking to her co-hosts, she addressed a past episode where she shared she was a virgin and said she was blown away by the feedback.
“People were in the comments and in my DMs as well and I had some doubters. I had some haters and then I had some people that were just like you’re gay, basically. That’s why you’re a virgin, you’re a lesbian.”
Jazz Anderson went on to say it was important for her to reveal her truth in a way she saw fit, even though it was something she had already spoken about with her family. She also noted her virginity was not synonymous with her sexuality.
“I am bisexual. I do look at myself as a bisexual woman in 2020. I’ve been with females and I’ve been with males. For me, I’m not going to let anybody call me a lesbian because I do like guys. If I’m ever looking and do like a great guy in the future, I’m definitely down to date him as I’ve dated other guys in the past.”
Jazz Anderson also had a message for people who said she was keeping her sexual identity a secret.
“For people saying I was hiding, I just never felt like I owed it to ya’ll.”
The TV personality even got tearful talking about the comments, mentioning how she didn’t want her sexuality to negatively impact her family.
“I have a sister whose in law school and I want to make sure that when I come out and speak my truth she doesn’t have to deal with anyone saying anything to her.”
Shortly after making the comments, she was showered with support from her co-hosts giving her words of support on the air. She also reposted an image of the moment on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 27th saying:
“MOOD! Have so much love for my co hosts”
