Kris Jenner Defends Kendall Jenner’s Halloween Birthday Party Amid Backlash: Everybody Was Tested
Kris Jenner is defending her daughter Kendall Jenner over backlash she received over a Halloween-themed birthday party, Kendall Jenner hosted her 25th birthday party with 100 guests – the majority seen not wearing masks.
Kris Jenner appeared on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM show and stood by her daughter’s decision despite the criticism:
“We’re dealing with lots of people that have different opinions and all we can do is live our lives the best way we know how and be responsible and do the right thing. And we’re doing that. And I think, I am very sensitive to what’s going on. Believe me, you know, I’ve, I’ve really tried so hard. We are very lucky to work in an industry where we get tested once or twice a week.”
Kris Jenner continued:
“At Kendall’s [party], everyone got tested before they walked in the door and they had to wait, you know, a half an hour until the testing was, the results were in.”
Finally, she added:
“Everybody was tested before a few days before… So we are really responsible and we make sure that everyone in our family and our closest friends are tested religiously. So, you know, we do what we can, we, we try to follow the rules. And then if people are, you know, they’re commenting and they’re being critical, I can’t control that.”
Several commented about the luxurious large gathering and how it violated the city of Los Angele’s Safer at Home order, where residents are advised to stay home. Kris did not comment on the Safer at Home order.
The party was held at Harriet’s Rooftop on top of the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood and it was a star-studded event. Guests included Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Saweetie, and Doja Cat.
