Sinbad’s Family Reveals He’s Recovering From A Stroke
Sinbad’s family has announced that he’s in recovery after suffering a stroke.
They said in a statement, according to reports:
“It is out of sincere love that we share Sinbad, our beloved husband and father, is recovering from a recent stroke. Sinbad is a light source of love and joy for many generations. While he is beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon.”
They continued:
“Our family thanks you in advance for your love and support and ask for continued prayers for his healing. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time.”
No further details have been given on his medical condition.
It’s not clear when the stroke occurred. Last month, the comedian and actor performed a show in Huntsville, Ala. He shared a photo of him wearing a mask, amid the COVID-19 pandemic and added the caption:
“I want to thank Huntsville AL for coming out this weekend and letting me entertain you. Kinda strange getting back in the saddle, but it was just what I needed at this time. Might hit a few more shows !”
Sinbad also appeared in the Fox series Rel last year.
Sinbad became known in the 1990s from being featured on his own HBO specials, appearing on several television series, and starring in the films Necessary Roughness, Houseguest, First Kid, Jingle All the Way, and Good Burger.
