Burna Boy Blasted For Allegedly Cheating On Girlfriend Stefflon Don With His Ex

Afrobeats artist Burna Boy (born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu) was recently blasted by his alleged ex-girlfriend who seemingly has still been in the picture despite his relationship with London-based rapper Stefflon Don. This is not the first time there has been reported activity outside of his current relationship with an ex-girlfriend. Last year, rumors were afloat that Burna Boy was cheating on Stefflon Don with his ex-girlfriend, actress Princess Shyngle, but Stefflon Don shut down those reports.

Now, social media users are reacting to a 2-part video that was posted by Burna Boy’s alleged ex, Jopearl, who took to Instagram to share her experience and her 2-year history with Burna.

Jopearl, owner of Snatched By Jopearl, recalls the Afrobeats rapper sliding into her DMs. She says that he invited her out to his popup shop where the two immediately hit it off and began a relationship. It wasn’t until she opened social media to see Burna Boy linked to Stefflon Don, that she realized he was in another relationship outside of her, according to Jopearl.

She described finding out about his relationship and said:

“I think it was January end of January, I go on social media, boom I see Burna Boy’s in a relationship with so and so. I’ve never cried so hard in my life like, it felt like my heart was ripped up my chest.

She continued,

“I literally collapsed and I cried for days, probably even weeks like I cried my heart out.”

Stefflon Don has spoken publicly about her relationship with the artist and recalls meeting him in Ghana where the rest “was history”.

She said,

“I met him in Ghana. I was in Africa for a show then I missed my flight, he had a show where he performed and I went to the show and the rest is history baby.”

Stefflon also said that he told her she would be his wife.

“He told me I was going to be his wife and you know how boys always talk s***, but I didn’t remember he said that, but he told me and I was like wow.”
