Cynthia Bailey Says That Her Daughter Didn’t Come Out As Sexually Fluid For An RHOA Storyline
Cynthia Bailey is making it clear that her daughter did not come out as sexually fluid for an RHOA storyline. On January 7th, Cynthia Bailey virtually joined Wendy Williams for an episode of The Wendy Williams Show. During the interview, Wendy Williams seemed to take a shot at the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and allude that her daughter, Noelle Robinson, shared her sexuality on the 12th season of the show to help out with a storyline. The talk show host said,
“Not for nothing, you needed a more interesting storyline than the happy married lady.”
Cynthia Bailey didn’t take the comment lightly and wasted no time in defending her daughter. She replied,
“Listen, honestly, Noel’s not a housewife. She’s not a peach holder. Noelle does not actually have to share her life with you guys.”
She continued,
“Wendy, the reason why I really wanted Noelle to tell her story on the show is because as a reality star family at this point, if we don’t talk about it on the show and people find out about it, they almost feel like we’re hiding it. And I didn’t want Noelle to feel ashamed or embarrassed or had to hide her truth.”
She added,
“Noelle is fluid, that’s her life, and I wanted her to tell her own story. [It] Wasn’t for my storyline.”
As we previously reported, 20-year-old Noelle Robinson shared with her mom and the viewers of RHOA that she identifies as sexually fluid during the current season of the reality TV series. When speaking with her mom about her time at college she said,
“I definitely ended up meeting a couple of girls that I thought were cool, like in a romantic aspect.”
Cynthia Bailey seemed to support her daughter and appreciate her honesty. During their vulnerable conversation, she said,
“Let me just stop you right there. I just want you to be happy Noelle. If you meet an amazing young lady, that’s a blessing. If you meet an amazing young man, that’s a blessing, as long as they’re good people and they love and support you.”
