Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato To Perform At Joe Biden’s Inauguration
According to reports, the inauguration will be a primetime televised event amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Demi Lovato, Jon Bon Jovi, and Ant Clemons will perform as well. Tom Hanks will serve as host.
The event will last 90 minutes and air on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC.
Justin Timberlake said he and Ant Clemons also penned the song Better Days together, which he completed his vocals for on election night. They will also perform it at the inauguration event. He wrote on Instagram:
“A few months ago, during lockdown, @antclemons and I wrote a song together called BETTER DAYS. (I actually recorded my final vocals for this song on election night…) ?
This past year brought a lot of frustration, grief, anger — and there were times when it was easy to feel powerless. This song was our way of doing what little we could to encourage everyone to stay hopeful… and keep working towards a better, more equal future. ?
I’m very honored to announce we will be performing this song on January 20th for the Presidential Inauguration. We have a long way to go to fix, undo, and rebuild this country… but I hope now, despite the past four years, we are on our way.”

The CEO of the inaugural celebration, Tony Allen, said in a statement:
“We have witnessed countless heroes this past year step up to the frontlines and serve their fellow Americans, so we are telling their stories, spreading their collective light, and celebrating the best of our country and its people with this prime-time program.”
