Tory Lanez Is Asked ‘Why You Shoot Megan The Stallion’ On Clubhouse

Tory Lanez can’t seem to get away from his previous altercation with Megan Thee Stallion. 

As previously reported, Megan Thee Stallion alleged that Tory Lanez shot her back in July 2020. While he has maintained his innocence, he’s received mixed reactions from fans.

While in a Clubhouse conversation recently, one member went as far as asking Tory Lanez why he shot Megan Thee Stallion.

Many other Clubhouse users called for the man to be booted from the room.

It sounds like Tory Lanez stayed quiet following the question as he’s not allowed to publicly speak on the case after being charged for allegedly shooting the Body rapper.

Last month, he asked a judge to lift the gag order. 

His lawyer Shawn Holley wrote in court documents,

“Due to limitations placed on Mr. Peterson and his counsel under the protective order, Mr. Peterson has been unable to respond to Megan P.’s inflammatory statements or to provide his own clarifying statements.”

He continued,

“Nothing could be further from the truth. Her claims are and will be sharply disputed and contradicted by the evidence in this case.”

He added that there is “mitigating” proof including “gunshot residue implicating others” and Tory Lanez’s

“failure to respond to [Megan Thee Stallion’s] inflammatory and misleading statements may be interpreted as conceding to her claims.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer Alex Spiro has since responded. He said on her behalf,

 “Did the motion fail to mention that there was gunshot residue on his hands or that he texted her ‘Sorry?’ I haven’t had a chance to read it.”
