Nene Leakes Denies Being Fired By Her Team: They Did NOT Let Me Go

Nene Leakes is responding to reports that she was fired by her team recently.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran took to Twitter to set the record straight.

She wrote Tuesday morning (Feb. 9th):

“For all of you that are asking, emailing, in boxing, blogging, reporting etc. The ONLY statement i have…My team DID NOT let me go! No further statements at this time”
According to Love B. Scottshe’s no longer represented by Steven Grossman at Untitled Entertainment and ICM. She also has reportedly stopped working with attorney Darrell Miller of Fox Rothschild, LLC. It was also alleged that she accused them of conspiring against her with BRavo.
She called them out on Twitter Monday, Feb. 8, and wrote:
Shortly after, she alleged that she had group text messages with her former RHOA cast members that could allegedly prove racism behind the scenes at Bravo.
Nene Leakes previously wrote,
“They pay off & reward lawyers, managers, agents & even certain cast members to keep their dirty work going. I won’t stop speaking out until something is done. I will call names if need be…”
Nene Leakes has been calling out Bravo ever since she announced last year that she would not be returning to RHOA.
She urged fans to boycott the network in December and said in an Instagram live chat with civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump:

“It’s not so much about me having my own show…When you work at any company you want elevation. It’s about leveling up. Whether I’m an actress or an executive, everybody wants to level up on their opportunity or their job… as an original Housewife, a lot of these girls were being elevated, I was being demoted.”

She explained:

“I was given less and less episodes and these girls were given more and more episodes. I was given less. Original housewives across the board in different states, Beverly Hills, New Jersey, other places – they were given full seasons and I was given less episodes every season.”
