Are Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena on the outs again?

The Love & Hip Hop: New York star shared a message about their union on Twitter, sparking breakup rumors.

He wrote Tuesday, Feb. 23rd:

“I mean this from the bottom of my heart getting married was 1 of my BIGGEST mistakes and it will never happen again.”

He continued,

“I’m walking away before I End up in jail over some dumb s—. Nobody is worth. my freedom!!!”

Erica Mena responded shortly after with a series of tweets.

It’s not clear what happened between him and Erica Mena, but this isn’t the first time their marriage seemed to be in trouble.

Erica Mena was the one who shared a cryptic message in September 2020. She posted a photo of her kids, including the daughter she shares with Safaree Samuels, and wrote:

“MY Kids… This is what my life is about! Priorities be really f*cked up for some people. Blessed I’m not one of those idiots…”

But they appeared to be back in one another’s good graces as they celebrated their one-year anniversary just weeks later.

Safaree Samuels also issued an apology after claiming he was single in November 2020.
