Boosie Has ‘Tears Of Joy’ After Test Results Show He’s Cancer Free: God Is Great

Update #2: Boosie has taken to Twitter to let his fans know that he is still cancer free.

He wrote,

“IM CANCER FREE #tearofjoy Thanks to everybody said a prayer for me #GODISGREAT“

Original Story: Prayers are going out for rapper Boosie as he underwent an annual cancer screening Wednesday, March 17th.

The rapper, who previously beat kidney cancer after first being diagnosed in 2015, asked fans to say a prayer before his appointment. He said in a video,

“Annual cancer checkup. I come every year. Y’all say a pray for me. I already done said a hundred prayers… still gon’ be cancer free…”

He added the caption,

“ANNUAL CANCER CHECK UP …ALL MY FAMILY N FANS SAY A PRAYER FOR ME AS I WAIT ON MY RESULTS…”

He shared another video from what appeared to be a doctor’s office an hour later. He said in that clip,

In 2015, Boosie had surgery that successfully removed the kidney cancer. He still has to go to checkups every year to make sure he’s cancer free.

He thanked fans after the surgery on Instagram and wrote back then,

“I want to thank each and everyone for all the support and love! Surgery went well..God is good! Next step recovery! Cancer has been removed from Boosie kidney… Thanks to all Boosie family and friends and all my real Boosie fans for all the prayers.”

He revealed he had kidney cancer just two weeks before.
