Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez Want To Do ‘Whatever It Takes To Stay Together’, Source Says
It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are staying together by any means necessary.
The couple has been fighting off rumors that they ended their engagement, and they don’t plan on slowing down.
An insider close to Jennifer Lopez has now told PEOPLE magazine that they’re set on making things work.

They said the retired MLB star even flew to the Dominican Republic to see Jennifer Lopez, who’s shooting her latest rom-com Shotgun Wedding there.
“Alex flew to the Dominican Republic, and Jennifer was excited to see him in person. They want to spend time in person to figure out their life together.”
They added,
“The past few days were upsetting and stressful. She and Alex have a lot of issues they hope they can work through, but they both seem willing to do whatever it takes to stay together.”
Another friend said Jennifer Lopez has been thinking about calling it quits with Alex Rodriguez for six months.

She revealed last month that the two were in therapy.
“I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”
Last year, she suggested they might not get married at all after having to postpone their wedding because of COVID-19.
She told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy:
“Oh yeah we’ve talked about that for sure. I mean at our age, we’ve both been married before, it’s like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us? And it’s just, it comes down to like personal, like, what do you want to do? There’s definitely no rush though.”

“It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned at all. So in March or April, we’re looking down the pipe and we’re going, ‘This is maybe not going to happen.’ Italy’s the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. It was, yeah, it was like, I was like, ‘okay, we got to cancel everything.’ And we just started kind of like, and we had to put out all this money and all this stuff, we were like, we gotta cancel it. So we, we canceled it.”
She said they went back to the drawing board months later, but still found that it wasn’t the right time. She referenced actress Goldie Hawn and actor Kurt Russell, who have been together since 1983 but never got married.
