‘Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City’ Star Mary Cosby Defends ‘RHONY’ Newbie Eboni K. Williams Amid Claims She & Eboni Lightened Their Skin
The Real Housewives of New York newcomer Eboni K. Williams is already learning about the criticism that comes with being a housewife. But it’s safe to say The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member Mary Cosby has her back.
As previously reported, Eboni K. Williams is the first black full-time cast member on RHONY.
Mary Cosby is no stranger to criticism as she received tons of backlash once it was publicized that she married her late grandmother’s husband.
She recently hopped in RHONY Leah McSweeny’s comments after she and Eboni K. Williams were accused of lightening their skin.
It started when Leah McSweeny shared a trailer of what’s to come for the upcoming season of RHONY.

One Instagram user said of Eboni,
“she’s likely lightened her sin, she’s definitely had work done, & she has a weave or wig to hide her natural hair. She’s just like [Mary Cosby].”
Mary Cosby responded,
“Really ?? Why because I’m black I DONT lighten my skin I didn’t know you know me…We are black & Beautiful I don’t want lights kin just because we [wear] weave doesn’t mean we don’t have beautiful hair because we do stop commenting on me. You don’t know me you sound racist”
The commenter then said Mary Cosby blocked her and said Mary is “barely recognizable” in older photos.

Eboni hasn’t responded.
