Kandi Burruss Not Happy With ‘RHOA’ Reunion Photo Bravo Released: Really? That Was The Picture They Chose?

The ladies of Real Housewives Of Atlanta recently came together to film the Season 13 reunion special. BRAVO officially released the reunion looks on April 1 and as no surprise, people had an opinion on the ladies’ outfits. Fans seemingly enjoyed most of the black-dungeon-themed ensembles on the cast but many weren’t too fond of Kandi Burruss’s look.

Kandi Burruss is seen dressed in a latex bodysuit, sleeves, collar, and corset. She paired that with a skirt and thigh-high black leather boots. After receiving criticism for her outfit choice, Kandi Burruss took to social media and expressed that she strongly disliked the pictures the network released. She said,

“I was super ticked off, because I saw that ugly picture that BRAVO had put out of my reunion look. I was like ‘Really? That was the picture they chose?’ So I did put a better video on my IG page just so you can get a better look of how the hair, make up, nails all came together. I actually was in the theme of what they told us the reunion was supposed to be which was burlesque, 50 shades of Gray, dungeon. “

Kandi goes on to say she did not want to do a regular look that she has done in the past and that she wanted to be creative with the theme.

“The hair was inspired by Dita Von Teese who is a successful burlesque performer and she always does retro hairstyles so I decided to do the retro hair look… I didn’t want to do the same thing that we always do which is your typical gown and curls for the girls, and long hair. I’ve already done that.”
