Kim Kardashian Reportedly ‘Disturbed’ W/ Caitlyn Jenner’s Tweet On Prison Reform & ‘Releasing Dangerous Criminals Back On Our Streets’

Kim Kardashian is reportedly not happy with Caitlyn Jenner and her politics.

As previously reported, Caitlyn Jenner announced her bid for Governor of California earlier this week (April 23rd).

Her campaign is largely centered on anti-Gavin Newsom sentiment (the state’s current, Democratic governor). In response to Caitlyn Jenner‘s bid, reports alleged that the Kardashians will not support her in her political endeavor.

However, it appears as though clear political differences between Caitlyn Jenner and her former step-daughter Kim Kardashian are continuing to arise.

This past Saturday (April 24th), Caitlyn tweeted her thoughts regarding “dangerous criminals” being released from prison and demanded Newsom’s resignation. Caitlyn‘s tweet was in response to a report of a seven-month-old child being murdered by a man who was released after being arrested for domestic violence. She wrote,

“This is horrible and also avoidable. Gavin’s District Attorneys across California are releasing dangerous criminals back on to our streets. Enough is enough.”

Sources close to both parties told TMZ that Kim Kardashian was “disappointed” and “disturbed” with Caitlyn‘s tweet and general views on prison reform. Reportedly, Kim feels as though Caitlyn‘s approach to the subject ultimately does not help the issue and only further damages communities.

Kim has been a staunch advocate for prison reform during recent years, helping numerous people sentenced to life without parole out of prison. Among those she has helped free are Alice Marie Johnson, Momolu Stewart, and Tynice Hall, so her alleged disagreement with Caitlyn might not come as a surprise.
