Kim Kardashian Buys Janet Jackson’s Custom Outfit from ‘If’ Music Video for $25K

Kim Kardashian recently dropped thousands on a custom-made outfit from Janet Jackson’s closet. On May 16 Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram stories to wish legendary entertainer Janet Jackson a happy birthday. In one of her birthday posts for the songstress, Kim Kardashian revealed that she spent $25,000 in an auction to win the custom-made fit that Janet Jackson wore in her 1993 ‘If’ music video. Kim shared a screenshot of Janet rocking the fit for the music video and captioned the image,

“For [Janet Jackson’s] bday bc I’m such a fan I can’t believe I won this on juliens_auctions.”

Janet seemed happy that Kim was the person who won her outfit. She thanked the reality TV star for the birthday wishes via her own IG stories and wished Kim the best with the custom fit.

“Thank u so much [Kim Kardashian!] I hope ‘IF’ gives u as much pleasure as it did me [3 kissing face emojis].”

‘If’ was featured on Janet’s 5th studio album entitled ‘Janet.’ The song debuted at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and peaked at number four.

As previously reported, Janet Jackson announced last month that she was auctioning off hundreds of her personal belongings to raise money for charity. A percentage of the money she raised during the auction went to Compassion International, an organization that aims to help the overall development of children living in poverty worldwide. In addition to the ‘If’ outfit that Kim was able to secure, Janet auctioned off many other unique items including; spanking crops, a condom machine, and a set of foreplay dice. The auction took place on May 16, Janet’s 55th birthday.
