‘Sex & The City’ Reboot To Feature All 3 Leading Men – Mr. Big, Aidan Shaw & Steve Brady
Chris Noth, John Corbett, and David Eigenburg will return for the ‘Sex and the City‘ reboot, ‘And Just Like That.’
One of the show’s senior production sources confirmed to DailyMail.com that “viewers will definitely see Big, Aidan and Steve” in the HBO Max ‘Sex and the City’ series reboot.
It was reported in February that Chris Noth [Mr. Big] and David Eigenburg [Steve Brady] had not yet signed on to be a part of the show’s reboot, and fans were devastated about what their potential absences would mean to the show’s storyline.
While the three leading men will be gracing the show, sources also revealed that costume designer Patricia Field, who styled Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) most iconic looks, will not be returning for the reboot of the show. Patricia Field will be replaced with stylist Molly Rogers. The source told the New York Post that Molly Rogers “worked under Patricia for the series’ original run as the stylist,” and she has “impressive” work credits that include: ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and ‘Ugly Betty.’
Although fans will be pleased that all three men will return to the show, it was previously reported that Kim Cattrall will not be reprising her infamous role as Samantha Jones. It’s been reported her absence from the ‘Sex and the City’ reboot is a result of a fallout with her female co-stars.
Sources close to the show are claiming producers have plans of replacing Kim Cattrall’s beloved character with three women of color. One of the show’s new faces includes former Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez. She will play Che Diaz, “a nonbinary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast on which Carrie Bradshaw is regularly featured.”
HBO stated,
“Che is a big presence with a big heart whose outrageous sense of humor and progressive human overview of gender roles has made them and their podcast very popular.”
