Kim Godwin was reportedly so concerned about the back and forth that she called a last-minute meeting with the daytime talk show’s co-hosts and producers in an effort to improve the behind-the-scenes culture, according to TMZ.
The network also reportedly received an overflow of messages for Meghan McCain to be fired.
Kim Godwin allegedly said that the verbal digs on the show were getting too personal and the audience sees it as toxic, which isn’t the point of The View.
Meghan McCain reportedly stormed out of the meeting because she felt like she was being “attacked.”
