Kim Kardashian Failed 1st-Year Law Student Exam
Kim Kardashian’s legal aspirations have hit a snag.
The reality star revealed in a teaser for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she failed the First-Year Law Students’ Examination, also known as the baby bar.
She told Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian,
“I didn’t pass the baby bar.”
She explained,
“If you do law school the way that I’m doing it, it is a four-year program instead of a typical three-year program. And after year one, you have to take the baby bar. This one actually is harder, I hear, than the official bar.”
Her mentor Jessica Jackson, told her she needed a 560 but got a 474, and commended Kim Kardashian, pointing out that there weren’t a ton of people taking the difficult test in the heat of a pandemic. Kim Kardashian replied,
“I am a failure.”
She later said,
“I spent six weeks straight, 10 to 12 hours a day studying. It was so important for me to take this and to not pass gets your spirit down and just makes you want to give up.”
She told her sisters,
“I didn’t fail by that much.”
Kourtney Kardashian offered encouragement and told her their late father, Robert Kardashian, Sr., who was a lawyer himself, would be proud of her for even trying.
Khloé Kardashian added,
“I think it’s highly respectable what you’re doing. The time can get taken away from your family, from your kids…”
Kim Kardashian said,
“That’s what pissed me off. The fact that I spent all that time away from my kids. I can’t do it again, I don’t have time to the next test in November… I’m filming the ending of our show, which would be so emotional, I have ever birthday under the sun. It’s my birthday, my 40th, I planned this whole trip. It’s too late to cancel.”
She continued,
“And if I fail again, it’s like what was the point?”
She then contemplated taking a year off.
