As previously reported, Nick Cannon’s talk show was originally supposed to air in October 2020. After he found himself in the hot seat for remarks he made on his podcast that were perceived as antisemitic, his daytime talk show was placed on hold.
Production for Nick Cannon’s daytime talk show has resumed, and the show is described as being “exciting, fun and uplifting.”
According to reports, the show will reflect Cannon’s brand of music, comedy, and pop culture. Nick Cannon expressed his excitement for his latest project and said,
“It’s been a longtime dream of mine to host my own daytime talk show and that I’m able to do this in New York City, bringing daytime television back to the place that has fostered generations of talent, is very special to me. With this show, we’ll be uniting all aspects of entertainment in a unique way in the very place where a lot of what we know today as our culture started. I couldn’t ask for better partners than Debar-Mercury and Fox and thank them for supporting me in this endeavor.”
Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury is the production company responsible for bringing the show to life. They also produce The Wendy Williams Show and Family Feud.
