Evelyn Lozada Says She Has A New Man, Wants To Keep Her Relationship Private

‘Basketball Wives’ veteran Evelyn Lozada has a new love interest.

She recently shared in an interview with host Justin Sylvester from E! News’ Just The Sip, that she will not be returning to the VH1 show ‘Basketball Wives.’

Evelyn Lozada explained,

“I am no longer going to do ‘Basketball Wives.’ I think that it’s time for me to open up the universe to other things.”

In the same interview, the reality star opened up a little bit about her love life, and revealed that she’s getting some “good d*** right now” from someone “she loves and cares about a lot.”

Evelyn Lozada said she began dating her lover, who she’s choosing to keep anonymous for now, “prior to COVID.”  

When asked if he was someone new or someone she had known for a while, she responded,

“We’ve know each other a long time, like 10 years.”

According to Evelyn Lozada, she and her mystery man fooled around years ago, but circumstances and situations at that time weren’t conducive to them exploring the idea of a relationship with each other. She said,

“It happened before, and then it’s like, I was in a relationship – it was bad timing. Everything had just happened with my ex. I wasn’t in that space or place and I’m a totally different person now than a decade ago.”

When asked why she’s choosing to keep this relationship ‘hush hush,’ Lozada explained:

“I have learned from past experiences. I want my personal life to be so private that you don’t even think it’s happening.”

She added,

“People try to mess things up, and ummm…I like my relationship and who I’m seeing or whatever’s happening to be kept private, and that you don’t know anything that’s going on.”
