Update #3 (June 10th – 1:50 pm EST): Kanye West’s rumored romance with Irina Shayk is no surprise to his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. 

In fact, an insider told PEOPLE that she’s known about it “for weeks.”

They added,

“It doesn’t bother Kim that Kanye is dating. Her only concern is their kids. She wants Kanye to be present and spend as much time with them as possible. The kids love when Kanye is around.”

“Kim doesn’t want a new girlfriend to distract Kanye from spending time with the kids.”

An insider also previously spoke on the earlier days of Kanye West’s supposed relationship with the supermodel.

“He started pursuing her a few weeks ago. Kanye is a persuasive guy. He hung out with her in NYC before they celebrated his birthday in France.”

“She seems smitten. He invited her to France and she happily accepted. They are not officially dating, but there is an interest from both sides.”

They also clarified,

“Irina isn’t friends with Kim at all, so there’s no weirdness there.”

Update #2 (June 10th – 11:30 am EST): While Kanye West’s alleged relationship with model Irina Shayk is new to the world, the two reportedly started dating months ago.

Insiders told TMZ they began their relationship as early as March, just after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West the month before.

Irina Shayk and Kanye West reportedly also spent time together in New York City in April. Kanye West was there for late rapper DMX’s memorial service.

A supposed clue of their relationship is that Irina Shayk was seen wearing a custom-made DMX shirt that West’s Yeezy line designed with Balenciaga. At the time, it hadn’t been released to the public yet.

Irina Shayk and Kanye were seen together for the first time in France to celebrate his 44th birthday earlier this week. They fueled relationship rumors even further when they were spotted getting off of a private jet together after landing in New York City just hours later.

The Good Life rapper was seen with Irina Shayk in Provence, France as he celebrated his 44th birthday yesterday (June 9th).

They were spotted smiling and walking together near a luxury boutique hotel with friends. They were also alone in some moments, appearing to look like a couple, according to TMZ. The site has confirmed reports that they’re together, but it’s not clear how serious they are.

Rumors that they’re dating started last month.

A tipster wrote in to DeuxMoi and said,

“Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk aka Bradley Cooper’s baby mama.”

The gossip site replied back and alluded that the pair aren’t officially a couple but there’s still something going on between them.

“After further looking into this, I don’t know if “dating” is the right word, but there is perhaps some interest there.”

However, another tipster seemed to agree that the pair are a couple. They insisted that Kanye West and Irina Shayk are dating. They wrote,

“Def dating.”

They’ve known one another for at least a decade as she appeared in his Power video in 2010.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February, after nearly seven years of marriage. But it looks like it’s a peaceful split as she wished him a happy birthday and told him,

“Love U for Life!”
