A$AP Rocky Says He’s On ‘Good’ Terms W/ Donald Trump, Previously Criticized For Not Thanking Former Pres For Defending Him While In Swedish Jail
The drama between A$AP Rocky and former President Donald Trump is over.
Donald Trump supporters previously called out the rapper for not publicly thanking Donald Trump after he intervened and pushed for A$AP Rocky to be released from jail in Sweden.
A$AP Rocky said after the premiere for his documentary Stockholm Syndrome earlier this week,
“Nah, we good.”
Earlier this year, explained that he actually did thank Donald Trump and told GQ,
“I was mad thankful that he did that, because he didn’t have to! He took the time out of his day.”
As previously reported, A$AP Rocky spent 33 days in a Swedish jail after being charged with assault following a fight. During A$AP Rocky’s time behind bars, Donald Trump first vowed that he would work with Swedish officials and Kanye West to get A$AP Rocky released on bail before his trial.

Still, things didn’t go as planned when the Prime Minister said he would not be released. Trump reacted to the news on Twitter.

A$AP Rocky was ultimately found guilty and given a two-year suspended sentence. He also had to pay the victim $1,300.
