Meek Mill Wants To Launch Marijuana Business Based In East Coast
Meek Mill is looking to add “cannabis entrepreneur” to his résumé!
Yesterday (Monday, June 14th), Meek Mill announced his new ambition on social media. The “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper tweeted:
“I’m about to start east coast on my weed business… but need a serious west coast plug… I’m taking ownership.. building my own company ground up! Get directly with me ASAP.”

From this announcement, it’s clear that the Philadelphia-based rapper aspires to focus his market on the Atlantic coast–but he’ll still need some assistance from a connect out west!
This claim comes shortly after Meek Mill helped a probation reform bill pass in Virginia. Less than a week ago, the state’s governor–Ralph Northam–signed a new bill that would limit how much “active incarceration” a court can order in response to a probation violation. Meek Mill joined the Governor of Virginia at the signing, claiming:
“I have the resources and I’m in a position to do better to help. I’ll make sure I’ll be able to deliver and close every bridge I can to help fix the system, because I was affected by that.”

Jay-Z
The news of Meek Mill‘s new cannabis endeavor comes shortly after Jay-Z made a similar business venture. Late last year, Jay-Z launched his marijuana brand, Monogram. Recently, Monogram secured a partnership which will reportedly result in more than 900,000 pounds of weed being produced–so it seems the cannabis industry is treating Jay-Z well!
