Cynthia Bailey Addresses Reports She Was Fired From ‘RHOA’ + Suggests She Never Wants To See Nene Leakes Return To The Show

Cynthia Bailey is addressing reports that the cast shakeup for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will leave her without a peach.

theJasmineBRAND previously broke the story that RHOA will be changing its cast for the 14th season.

An insider told us in May,

“The ratings weren’t the best this past season, so they need to do something to help get more viewers.”

Cynthia Bailey stopped by The Wendy Williams Show yesterday (June 24th), and when asked about the shakeup said:

“I love ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’. This platform has been amazing. I have an amazing relationship with the network. Bravo has been good to me.”

When Wendy Williams told her to “get to it”, Cynthia Bailey continued,

“Here’s the thing – Nobody really wants to be fired. My first job was Taco Bell, I wouldn’t want to be fired from there. I would want the option to leave if I want… God’s will, not my will be done. I’ve had an amazing run. It’s been 11 amazing years as a consistent peach holder…”

She then said who she wants to see fired if not herself.

“The person that wants me to be fired all the time who isn’t even on the show anymore…Her name rhymes with ‘meanie.’ I’m not saying the name but y’all know who I’m talking about.”

Bailey was referring to her former friend Nene Leakes, who left the show ahead of the previous 12th season.

When asked who she never wants to see on the show anymore, Bailey said,

“The same person.”
