Young rapper Lil Nas X, 22, definitely knows how to give a performance that will get the people talking. A lot of people had something to say about the rapper’s performance including famous songstress Madonna, 62. Following the musical event, Madonna shared an image of her own on-stage kiss to her Instagram stories. The picture was from the 2003 VMAs of herself kissing Britney Spears. She also included a picture of Lil Nas X’s kiss with his back-up dancer on stage and captioned the post,
“#DidItFirst”

Fans weren’t here for Madonna’s comparison and many people called her out for claiming she ‘did it first.’ However, according to Lil Nas X, there’s no love lost between him and the ‘Material Girl’ singer. He shared via his Twitter that Madonna’s post was just a joke.
“me and madonna are friends. it’s just a joke.”
