Aubrey O’Day Reveals She’s Moving Out Of The U.S. Because ‘Life Got Too Predictable & Uninspiring’
While Aubrey O’Day has been back in the spotlight with BET Presents: The Encore, it looks like she’s over living in the U.S. for good.
She took to Instagram over the weekend to share that she’s relocating to another country.
The former Danity Kane singer wrote,
“for those of you who are friends, or have spent enough time on my Twitter over the years to get into my mind, you know I’ve been wanting to move out of the country for a while now, so.. I have :)”
She continued,
“I sold my place in America and just boarded my flight to a new life. I’ve been so anxious, scared, emotionally raw, I have no idea what will come next.. which completely exacerbates the control freak in me…however.. life just got too predictable and uninspiring for me”
She briefly spoke on her grievances with America before revealing a promise she made to herself at a young age.
“The industry, society’s cravings, our leaders, the product consumer dynamics.. and then I remembered before I was a public figure at 17, while in college, I sailed around the world on Semester at Sea.. and when I returned home my mission was to join the Peace Corp.”
I promised myself that I would take a stand and implement change for the injustices I witnessed all over the world, and I just knew I would use my voice to make an impact!”
Aubrey O’Day was thrust into fame as one-fifth of Diddy’s popular girl group Danity Kane, which was discovered on MTV’s Making The Band. They had several hits from Show Stopper to Damaged before breaking up on live television because of differences in the group.
Aubrey O’Day went on to star in her own reality show before dipping in and out of the spotlight. She also reportedly had an infamous affair with Donald Trump, Jr.
Most recently, she appears on BET’s The Encore, which shows several members of former popular girl groups trying to make a supergroup.

Aubrey O’Day ended her post with,
“Now that said.. I’ve definitely lived every last thing on my many bucket lists growing up, and my unrestrained perspectives definitely make an impact (whether it be the one intended/deserved or not ), but I need a more profound purpose at this stage of my life than what I’ve learned so far. So.. I’m writing this to anyone who may be relating to any of these feelings expressed.. JUST JUMP AND THE NET WILL APPEAR! love you all!”
She didn’t reveal what country she now calls home.
