Lil Uzi Vert Is Allegedly In The Process Of Purchasing A Planet Larger Than Jupiter, Would Become First Person To Legally Own A Planet
Could Lil Uzi Vert really become the first person to own a planet?
Yesterday (Wednesday, July 21st), Grimes—Elon Musk‘s girlfriend–made quite an announcement on Twitter. The Canadian musician quote tweeted a statement about a planet from an account focusing on space content, writing:
“Apparantly [sic] @LILUZIVERT owns this planet–just a heads up.”

The planet–WASP-127b–is reportedly larger than Jupiter, which is the largest planet in our solar system.
Shortly after Grimes‘ tweet, Lil Uzi Vert responded–seemingly confirming her claim. The “XO Tour Llif3” star replied:
“I tried 2 surprise everyone. Still working on it #neuralink.”

In turn, Grimes responded as well–excitedly tweeting:
“Documentation [is] almost complete for @LILUZIVERT to legally claim wasp-127b–this is huge! First human to legally own a planet.”

Despite these claims, it remains unconfirmed whether or not Lil Uzi Vert is actually buying a planet.
It’s also worth noting that Lil Uzi Vert has a close relationship with Grimes, reportedly dating back to at least 2019. Resultingly, while their Twitter interaction may come as a surprise to many, it’s not as farfetched as it may seem.

These planet-buying rumors come shortly after Lil Uzi Vert was named the sixth highest-paid rapper of 2020, raking in $9.5 million. Additionally, it comes weeks after he removed his $24 million pink diamond implant from his forehead.
