During the event, Kanye West reportedly became emotional as he premiered the song ‘Love Unconditionally,’ which is about ‘losing’ his family. The 44-year-old rapper showed fans his vulnerable side and appeared to be crying while he fell to his knees as the track played.
The lyrics to the yet-to-be-released song said,
“I’m losing my family / I’m losing my family / I’m losing my family.”
It also reportedly featured audio of the rapper’s late mother Donda West saying
“’No matter what you never abandon your family.”
Kanye named his latest project after his mother who unfortunately passed away in 2007.

An insider told E! News that Kanye’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, was aware of the song and gave her approval on the emotional track. They shared,
“Kanye did write a song about Kim and their marriage and Kim gave her input about it. He was respectful and gave her the heads up, and did not want to blindside her.”
The source added that Kanye,
“respects Kim a lot and wants to keep the family unit. Now that they have had space, Kim feels relieved that they can be cordial and spend time together for the sake of the kids”

Kim shared her raw feelings on their separation during the final season of KUWTK. She said,
“I think he deserves someone that can go support his every move, go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming. I can’t do that.”
She continued,
“He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything and I can’t. I feel like a f**king failure that it’s like a third f***ing marriage, yea, I feel like a f***ing loser, but I can’t even think about that. I want to be happy.”
