Draya Michele Accused Of Operating A Sweatshop After Sharing Picture Of Employees’ Work Environment Online

Draya Michele has found herself in the hot seat after sharing a picture of her employee’s work conditions online. Recently Draya Michele took to her Instagram stories to share what appears to be a behind-the-scenes look of the factory where items for her line ‘Mint Swim’ are produced. The image is a bird’s eye view of seamstresses hard at work in front of sewing machines and piles of fabric around them. The text over Draya’s image said,

“Everyone’s in Europe and I’m just here CEO-ing”

After she shared the image to her 8.4 million Instagram followers it didn’t take long for people to accuse the former reality star of operating a sweatshop. One Twitter user tweeted a screenshot of the questionable image online and said,

“I wanna know how much she’s paying them. She should’ve kept this weird insensitive post to herself .”

Others also took to Twitter to share their concern over the picture.

Draya has yet to respond to the criticism she’s received.
