Sha’Carri Richardson Seemingly Says Allyson Felix’s ‘Encouraging Words’ For People To Rally Around Her Is As Real As ‘Nothing At All’

Sha’Carri Richardson has seemingly shaded Allyson Felix’s call for people to rally around her. As previously reported, Sha’Carri Richardson was the topic of discussion last week after placing 9th for the Prefontaine Classic 100 meter race. Following the track event, famous track and field sprinter Allyson Felix offered some encouraging words to fellow runner Sha’Carri Richardson. During an interview, she praised Richardson for bringing attention to Track & Field. She said,

“Obviously she has a great personality and she’s brought a lot of attention to the sport and I think she’ll be in the sport for a very long time.”

The 35-year-old athlete also asked for people to rally around 21-year-old Sha’Carri Richardson.

“I know that she’s obviously been through so much and I hope that she’s just supported. I hope people rally around her. I think just more than anything, for all athletes, there’s so much that goes into it. Just give her the support that she needs.”

Despite, Allyson Felix’s empathetic words, Richardson didn’t appear to agree with what was said. She took to her Instagram stories and seemingly slammed Felix for her comments. Richardson uploaded a selfie of herself in a car and added the text

‘Encouraging words on tv shows are just as real as well nothing at all”

Following her seemingly shady post, Allyson Felix became a trending topic on Twitter as fans weighed in on what Sha’Carri Richardson said.

Allyson Felix has yet to respond to Sha’Carri Richardson’s IG post.
