Lil Mama Says ‘If I Die & You Don’t F*ck With Me Let Me Die In Peace Please’ Amid News Of Michael K. Williams’ Passing
The death of longtime actor, Michael K. Williams, sent shockwaves through Hollywood. Many people that knew him personally and from afar have taken the time to express their grief and condolences to his family. The Wire and Lovecraft Country star’s passing has made many think about their own mortality and loving people while they are still here. Lil Mama posted the late actor’s photo to her Instagram and captioned it,
“Waking up To This News is Heart Breaking. This is Why I Started Giving People Their FLOWERS Before it Became a TREND. People kept asking me “Why You Keep posting People Making Me Think Their Dead” WHY WAIT UNTIL PEOPLE LEAVE THE PHYSICAL REALM TO HONOR THEM MAN. D*** Mic RIP”

The 31-year-old rapper also went to her Instagram stories and posted this quote about the way people react to death on social media. The caption of the Instagram story reads,
“You die today 1000 plus people gone post you. You go to jail 1000 plus people gone post you. But while you out here doing your thing only 20 plus people gone post you.”

From the caption and her post, it seems like this was something that was really on Lil Mama’s mind to speak up about and she even told people what they should do if she dies. She said,
“All Imma say is this, if I die and you dont f*ck with me let me die in peace please. Don’t send me no love notes; give as much of a f*ck about me when I’m gone as you do when I’m here.”
She continued to say,
“Oh, Lil Mama died oh great let’s go get ice cream do what you been doing dont f*ck with me.”
