Trippie Redd–Bus Driver Carrying 10 Passengers Gets Shot After Trippie Redd Concert In Baltimore

A bus driver had a close call while driving numerous passengers to the airport after a Trippie Redd concert.

This past Monday night (Sept. 6th), Trippie Redd (real name Michael White II) performed at the MECU Pavilion in Baltimore, Maryland. After the concert, a tour bus carrying ten people left the venue and headed for the BWI Airport. At about 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 7th), a passing motorist opened fire on the bus driver while driving through Anne Arundel County on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

According to reports, the bus driver was hit by one bullet. After the shooting, the bus driver pulled into BWI Airport’s departure lanes, and he was then taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. None of the ten passengers onboard the tour bus sustained any injuries, and the driver’s current condition is unknown.

The tour bus was carrying various crew members from MECU Pavilion. However, it is unclear if any performers, like Trippie Redd, were onboard the bus at the time. Additionally, it is unclear whether the shooting was a planned attack or a random act of violence.

Regarding the incident, Maryland State Police spokeswoman Elena Russo stated:

“Part of the ongoing active investigation is to determine whether this was a targeted incident or not. Police have been working with the passengers on board the bus as well as a few motorists who were driving by who did see the incident, so there are a few conflicting details in terms of what kind of vehicle was involved and what that suspect might have looked like.”

Trippie Redd has not publicly commented on the situation.
