Lil Mo Demands ‘Genuine’ Apology From Fat Joe For Calling Her A ‘Dusty B****’ + Remy Ma Defends Him
Update #1 (Sept. 15th): Lil Mo has spoken out after Fat Joe insulted her during his Verzuz battle against Ja Rule last night (Sept. 14th).
She wrote earlier today (Sept. 15th),
“I need EVERYONE to tell @Fatjoe he owes A genuine Apology… I don’t Live in A #CrackHouse , I’m Not A #Bxtch nor am I Dusty!!! #StreetCODE Women & Children is off limits ????? #Disappointed [broken heart Emojis] #Legend [goat Emoji] #FacultyMusicGroup@Woo__says“
Remy Ma was spotted under the comments with the caption,
“Stop it Mo, you know d*** well Joe ain’t on it like that. First of all …you, V, Shanti- or nobody had even come out yet- when him and Ja was going back & forth; we didn’t know who was in the back. Second… I was in the car when you walked thru the parking lot and he hugged you, & showed mad love as usual…”
She continued,
“no need for your followers to tell him anything, as someone that personally knows you I’m sorry you were offended – you can call my phone ; matter fact I’m gonna dm you my number in case you don’t have it anymore – but also as someone that personally knows Joe he was not intentionally trying to hurt anyone- it was a battle between friends that are like family, sidebar: #streetcode don’t do social media”
Still, Fat Joe did offer another apology and wrote,
“I’m super sorry i love you and vida i said sorry to your face before i left the building and to vida i was caught in the moment and I’m super sorry god bless”
Original Story: Did Fat Joe go too far with his trash-talking?
Yesterday (Tuesday, Sept. 14th), Fat Joe and Ja Rule faced off in a Verzuz battle. During the event, Fat Joe (real name Joseph Antonio Cartagena) made a few comments about Lil Mo and Vita–female rappers who worked on Ja Rule‘s “Put It On Me”–that didn’t go over too well.
The matter began once Fat Joe brought out former Terror Squad member Remy Ma for a song. Ja Rule commented:
“You had to bring Remy to save you. This is f**king pathetic!”
Fat Joe immediately responded by saying Ja Rule had “other dusty b***hes” backstage to perform, referring to Vita and Lil Mo:
“You got all them other dusty b***hes back there, Ja!”
Ja Rule then said:
“The fact that Remy had to come out here to save you, Imma keep that between me and you.”
In turn, Fat Joe replied by addressing Vita and Lil Mo‘s appearances once again:
“You gotta feed these girls something! You gotta feed these girls some food, Ja. That’s what I mean–my b***hes is rich!”
Later, Fat Joe made more controversial comments about Vita and Lil Mo. He told Ja Rule:
“You gotta go to the crack house to find them b***hes!”
Shortly thereafter, Ja Rule lightheartedly commented on Fat Joe‘s statements:
“I’m shocked at you being so disrespectful to the ladies. I’m shocked at you calling the ladies all kinds of b***hes!”
