Kim Kardashian Will Host ‘Saturday Night Live’ In October
Kim Kardashian is headed back to televison.
Kim Kardashian, 40, will be showing off her acting and improv skills as a host on Saturday Night Live.
Announced on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, Kim celebrated the news reposting the show’s infamous Post-it note announcement saying,
“OMFG no turning back now!!!! LOL I’m hosting SNL!!!!!! @nbcsnl.”
The former reality star will be hosting her own episode of the long-running sketch comedy show on Oct. 9th with Halsey, who hosted back in 2019, as the musical performance.
Kim Kardashian will be the first of her famous family to host the show however, she joins the ranks of previous hosts like Drake and Eddie Murphy.
In 2018, Kim’s estranged husband Kanye West appeared as the musical guest for the seventh time. Followimg his performance, Kanye West flew into a rant about racism, Donald Trump, and the Democratic agenda.
Although his speech didn’t make it on air it quickly circulated on social media.
The 47th season of Saturday Night Live will air on NBC Oct. 2, 2021 at 11:30 pm
